Analysis into One Magazine cover

Masthead: The mast head goes under the main and only image, and it uses a 'classical' type of font with a old style border. The border itself is a faded golden colour, which still goes with the theme of old and classical. The masthead's colour is white which on a black background makes it stand out, as well as its large font size. The magazine name "Classic rock' goes along with the style the front cover is. The word 'rock' is a lot larger which draws attention to it, as well as having the black background. The 'classical' is in-between the 'R' and the 'K' on rock. This makes it noticeable and still draws attention to the top of the page.

Cover Lines : The cover lines are above 'Black Sabbath' on the left, it looks like the same font as the black Sabbath, and its also in the same colour this makes it stand out, but because of its size it doesn't immediately draw attention to it.

Main cover line: The main cover line is surrounded by the border which is the same as the 'black Sabbath'  writing so it is still in the theme of old fashioned. 'THE FINAL INTERVIEW?' is in all capitals as well as being bold and in red, this will make it stand out as it is a different colour to the rest of the cover.
Banner: This magazine doesn't have a banner, this will be because the magazine is all about one band.

Layering: There are 7 layers in the cover of this magazine, with the 'Black Sabbath' writing going over their photo. As well as the Stamp with 'New interviews' on it.

Main Image: The main image is the band black Sabbath wearing suits, and old fashioned clothing. This still goes with the theme of being old fashioned, could connote that they are finishing because they are old fashioned.

Colour pallet: The colour pallet is predominately black and white, with some red included. The black is used for the background while the white is used to contrast it with the text. The red is used to include other information.
